Kingdom Vision International’s Child Sponsorship program allows families from across the street and across the world to support and care for the children at KVI.  KVI currently is sponsoring approximately 500 orphaned and disadvantaged children across 3 different regions including Addis Ababa, Adama, and Wolaita, yet KVI is aware of so many more children that need sponsorship.  With thousands of children in need of basic care, achieved through sponsorship, KVI has a modest goal of  sponsoring another 500 children that are in need of personal and basic care by the end of 2010.   To meet this goal, we need your help.

Sponsoring a Child from KVI is a simple and effective way to support the child and give him or her the basic nutritional, physical, emotional, and financial support that child needs in order to live.  For just $20 per month, or $240 per year you can sponsor a child, and give that child food, shelter, clothing, transportation, education, spiritual development, encouragement, and so much more.

KVI works on empowering the families, guardians, and caregivers of the sponsored children in order to teach them a new lifestyle, and create self sustainability within the family and the community.

Many families ask the question, how can I help?  How can I support KVI?  The single most effective program that helps children of Ethiopia is the KVI child sponsorship program.  By sponsoring one individual child, you can give that child the opportunity to live and grow and love God, and get the basic food, medical, spiritual, physical, and mental needs met through the modest commitment of $20 per month.  One out of every five children that come into contact with the KVI staff are ineligible for adoption due to health, personal, or family reasons.  This means that there is a tremendous gap in the ability for people to help children through adoption, and these children getting any assistance at all.  For every 100 children that are adopted through KVI, another 1000 or more that are unable to be adopted and who have the same needs as the rest of the children.
